Today, we find ourselves living through an energy crisis despite Nature gifting us with unlimited resources of solar, wind and geothermal power. At the same time, we have a cost-of-living crisis that’s hitting many people hard, especially those who are most vulnerable.
But what about the cost-of-doing-nothing crisis? How much longer can we wait before taking decisive and far-reaching action on the greatest emergency of them all – the Climate Crisis?
Our external predicaments are a reflection of our internal breakdown. It’s time we took a look inside ourselves to the core of it all.
Not only are all these crises entangled together but so too are we, and the destiny of all living beings. It is only by going down to the roots that we can connect with the life energy that can sustain us to make real change.
It can be hard to know where to start and many of us feel powerless to take meaningful action. But we can all choose to become stewards of Life on Earth and play our own part in some small way.
This introductory workshop to The Work That Reconnects, based on the teachings of deep ecologist Joanna Macy, provides a framework rooted in our innate care for the Natural World and our interconnectedness within the web of life.
By sowing seeds of hope, we can move from disillusionment and overwhelm into inspired, collaborative action.
Join us on a journey as we come from a place of gratitude and move through our emotional landscape, before seeing the world with new eyes and going forth in decisive action on behalf of all life.
